Slightly Askew Pilates
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Apply Pilates movement principles to exercises and experience the transformative element of the method. The first step for a teacher with a new client is an assessment; and a standing assessment is an intelligent observation of functional posture which considers the status quo of the client. These are the tools that help the teacher determine the organization of core movement coordinated with the extremities. Vertical movement allows the client and the teacher to observe how various movement strategies are adopted from the observation assessment in standing. It would be unusual to have a client who has perfect movement patterns and it is much more typical to observe habits that could be optimized with movement education. Good Pilates seeks to facilitate each student's experience as a personal journey of mindful movement. Just remember, the average human is slightly askew.
